A Safekeeping Receipt (SKR) is the digital, cryptographically signed certificate confirming specific assets are held in Safepro's custody. Every SKR carries a unique number, a QR code, and a content hash so its authenticity can be checked independently — by you, or by anyone you share it with.
Finding and using a receipt

Find your receipts
Safekeeping Receipts lists every SKR issued against your custody records, with its asset summary, issue date, and status.

Review the details
Open a receipt to see its Deposit Details, Commodity Details, Customs & Storage Terms (when on file), and a Verification block showing the signing algorithm, key version, and content hash.

Download the certificate
"Download certificate PDF" generates a printable document with a barcode, the SKR number, a QR code, and the signature blocks recorded for that receipt (Depositor, Receiving Officer, Vault Officer, Warehouse Manager).

Share it for independent verification
The QR code and the verify link printed on the certificate both lead to the public verification page — anyone can scan or open it to confirm the receipt is genuine, without needing to sign in. See Verify a Receipt.

Receipt statuses
Currently valid — represents assets presently in custody.
No longer in force, typically because the underlying assets were fully released.
Invalidated by Safepro. Do not rely on a revoked receipt.

What does the QR code on my receipt do?
It links straight to the public verification page for that exact SKR number, so anyone with the printed certificate or the QR code can confirm it's genuine.
What's the content hash for?
It's a cryptographic fingerprint of the receipt's contents — if even a single detail were altered, the hash would no longer match, which is how tampering is detected.
Can a receipt change after it's issued?
A receipt can be reissued as a new version if its details need to change; the previous version is then superseded. Always check the current version through the QR code or verify link rather than relying on an older printout.
I don't see a receipt for an asset I deposited yet — why?
A Safekeeping Receipt is issued once your asset has been received, inspected, and registered — check its custody record's status in the meantime.
